Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, and Franklin Templeton, a global asset manager with $1.6T in assets, announced a partnership to develop new digital asset products.
The goal is to combine Franklin Templeton’s regulatory expertise in tokenizing securities with Binance’s global trading platform and investor reach.
The partnership aims to develop solutions that enhance efficiency, transparency, and settlement speed, while offering competitive yields. By blending traditional finance skills with blockchain technology, they aim to connect traditional and decentralized finance.
Sandy Kaul, Franklin Templeton’s Head of Innovation, sees blockchain as a chance to reinvent old financial systems. Roger Bayston, Head of Digital Assets, focuses on building dependable, accessible digital products that meet investor needs.
Binance’s Catherine Chen says this work furthers Binance’s mission to link crypto with traditional markets, opening new chances for investors.
More details on products and projects will be shared later in 2025.
