Pantera Capital Secures Extra Solana Tokens at FTX Auction

Pantera Capital acquires more SOL tokens through FTX's bankruptcy auctions, demonstrating that investor interest in Solana is expanding despite its previous volatility.
Pantera Capital Secures Extra Solana Tokens at FTX Auction

Pantera Capital won again, acquiring more Solana (SOL) tokens in a recent FTX auction. The firm received approximately 2,000 tokens, the specifics of which are now unknown. This follows a prior victory in which Pantera and Galaxy Digital acquired a major chunk of SOL at a severe price.

The 41 million SOL tokens from FTX have been reserved and will be available to the market progressively over the next four years. Despite selling at a greater price than the last $60 auction, there are hopes for more auctions soon.

Solana's market price is hovering at $145, showing persistence with a more than 1,300% increase since last year, despite a 94% drop in 2022 due to FTX's bankruptcy fiasco.
